Condensed water on the top cover drips back down into the pot. In doing so, it gradually solves mineral residue that may have formed which keeps the pot clean. This saves you frequent repotting sessions and strenous hand cleaning of pots. If it's ever necessary flushing the system is easy.

The black top cover absorbs light and warms up which leads to a rise in temperature within the pot. This ensures and improves root growth.

Our rubber foam top cover seals the pot so there is virtually no water loss through evaporation. Hence the substratum remains humid much longer and watering intervals can be set farther apart. The plant is watered  wholesomely through the watering ring without wasting water.
